Some of my favorite venues for New Orleans wedding photography include the iconic Hotel Peter & Paul, the New Orleans Museum of Art, and historic Preservation Hall in the heart of the French Quarter.
New Orleans weddings are a combination of tradition and community. In the Big Easy, everyone is a celebrity on their wedding day. Imagine parading through the streets to the sounds of exuberant cheers and joyous music. Couples should expect a 100% attendance when inviting guests to this incredible city. It truly is a city of LOVE and ROMANCE.
My soul needed this city. It was tired, frustrated and rhythm had definitely left my body. Let me tell you the story of how a restless woman was gifted a new life in a city that some call, “the greatest in the world.” The locals will tell you, “there ain’t nothing like it.” I will tell you, it’s fire in my bones; a place where second lines are second nature. It’s a place where a hurricane could be a devastating storm or intoxicating beverage. New Orleans is a cultural dream; the utopia of trumpets and trombones. It’s INCEPTION! Trust me, there’s no need to stop the spinning totem. This beautiful city is the canvas for my memories. I’ve created the best life and the best art imaginable. I’ve devoured buffets of joy and opportunity. My neighbors have cursed me out and changed my tire in the same hour. My two step came back with a vengeance and my footwork for Super Sunday is something serious. I am feasting on life and life is good, so good.
