It is such a pleasure when past clients call us to capture more memories of their growing families. My first time shooting for the Thistle Family was actually their wedding day! We loved getting to reconnect with the Thistle’s and snap a few shots of their little boy Ben at their home.
Posed family portraits are not always my favorite images to capture, but when the Thistle’s called and asked I could not say no! Ben of course was having a ball running around the house being a typical little boy. But instead of trying to get him to settle down I said, ” Let him be! This will be great.” Like most children, getting their picture taken is not high on their list of favorites but Ben was a natural! Just look at his infectious smile.
These candid moments marked the beginning of my Fall Portrait Sessions for 2020 and we are so excited to be adding a little bit of “normal” back into our schedule. Meeting new families and reconnecting with some from the past is just one of the amazing perks photography has to offer. With this new season, comes new challenges, adventures and opportunities!
